Stitch count is 240 wide x 88 high and the model is stitched with two strands of thread over two strands of linen. The model is stitched on 32 count “Cafe Au Lait” linen from Fiber On A Whim. This is a lightly mottled neutral backdrop for the strong design colors and the closest DMC equivalent is 0006 or 0007.

The model is trimmed with “Nutmeg” velveteen from Lady Dot Creates.

Threads Used:

DMC – 0007 (*), 407, 676, 3371, 3740, 3787, 3802, 3823, 3826, 3865

(*) This thread is used for backstitching around the design and was chosen to blend in well with the fabric color. Specialty Stitches – Straight Stitches and French Knots

A DMC conversion is provided for the overdyed threads.
