Description
The Calliope’s Meadow folk embroidery kit—inspired by a tiny border on a traditional bed curtain from the Greek islands—is made up of carnations alternating with flower bud sprays which create a beautiful chevron border effect. The fresh and delicate colors evoke a meadow presided over by Calliope, muse of poetry and eloquence. Shown worked as a table runner, it would be beautiful as a cushion cover or wall hanging. Kit includes: 26ct 100% cotton Traditional Groundcloth in natural, DMC 100% cotton embroidery floss, John James size 24 needle, full color charts and instructions.

Please note: the drawn thread hem finishing shown in the photos has to be done after the design is stitched; the fabric in your kit will come with the raw edges serged so they don’t unravel while you are stitching.
