Description
Tuscan Bergamon folk embroidery kit creates a table runner embroidered with a gorgeous garden with lush leaves, overblown flowers, and delicate tendrils is worked in rich shades of garnet, alizarin, green, blue, and gold. The leaves are reminiscent of Venetian brocade motifs while the large flowers are classic examples of the stylized floral motifs found in many folk embroideries. The combination of these motifs from different eras creates a uniquely graceful and intricate table runner. Kit includes: 30ct 100% cotton Mikini ivory, DMC 100% cotton embroidery floss, John James size 24 needle, full color charts and instructions.
Please note: the 3768 floss is currently not available so I am substituting the 317 pewter gray which is almost identical

Please note: the drawn thread hem finishing shown in the photos has to be done after the design is stitched; the fabric in your kit will come with the raw edges serged so they don’t unravel while you are stitching.
